ownership of a glider by Paul Ratzlaff. "The beauty part of this method of joint ownership of a glider is that there is a fair bit of flexibility in the ownership. For instance, if another partner is desired (to dilute the cost of the investment), the shareholders in the corporation can sell any number of their shares of stock and receive as much investment money back as they may need, without have to create a new partnership. The drawbacks are that you need to incorporate ($135.00 with the Secretary of State) and you need to have state and federal tax i.d. numbers, and you need to file an income tax return for the corporation. Since the corporation has only expenses and no income, however, there is no need to pay any income tax, and the filed return is what they call a "null" return." |
