Double Socket Arm for 1" Ball, Plastic - Light-Duty
The RAP-B-201-1U, RAM light series double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases. A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly on a 1" diameter ball.
This arm much lighter, but much less rugged than the RAP-B-201U and RAP-B-201U-Aarms, but is plenty strong for holding a PDA. It is probably not strong enough to hold a large navigation display - such as a ClearNav or LX9000.
