Note: This arm is very short.  I recommend the RAP-B-201U arm more this one because it is, less expensive, longer and just slightly heavier due to its plastic construction rather.  However, if you need a short arm that will accommodate 1" (B size) balls, this is a very nice little arm.  The arm has a socket at either end to allow a 1" diameter ball (size "B") accessories to be connected. A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly on a 1" diameter ball. 

The RAM-B-201U-A consists of a short double socket arm that accommodates 1" B size ball bases, device holders, and adapters. With an overall length 2.42", this is the lowest profile RAM® double socket arm size. The easy to adjust knob allows for near-infinite adjustability for your connected device.

Q: What is the difference between the RAM-B-201U-A from the RAP-B-201U-A
A: The M in our part numbers indicates they are made with Marine-grade aluminum The P indicates they are High strength composite.

Q: Can I use a snap link ball (3/4) on one end and a B ball (1") on the other?
A: No, the sockets on either side of a RAM-B-201U-A are only compatible with the 1" diameter B size balls.  There is not currently an adapter or double socket arm that will make the B size and Snap Link size components work well together.
