TM170 Gooseneck Microphone Assembly - 17 in
Note: This version is quite short. Because of that - the 23 inch version (below) is much more popular than this 17 inch version.
This is a great dynamic microphone for use with Becker, Walter Dittel, and TQ KRT2 aircraft radios. It is very rugged and classy looking. The right-angle mounting base and microphone adapter are black anodized machined aluminum parts - custom made for Cumulus Soaring, Inc.. This gooseneck is a great value, yet it looks and works great in even the most expensive sailplanes. The sound quality is excellent.
This microphone does not work with XCOM, Flightline, Microair or Trig radios. The ME510 works with those radios.
Value Added
The base of the microphone head is much wider than the end of the gooseneck, so I have a custom, black anodized, machined aluminum adapter made. It adds a lot. The right-angle mounting base is also a custom, black anodized, machined aluminum part.
Color: All items are black in color to minimize reflections in the cockpit.
