Slippery Finger Tips?
I have used the PD2 cradle with a variety of PDA in my glider cockpit for many years. The rubber tips on the fingers hold the PDA very securely. However, I just received a cradle and was setting it up for a customer and found that the finger tips were slippery and did not keep the PDA from sliding. I talked to RAM about it and they said that sometimes the release agent used during the molding process causes this problem. They suggested washing the fingers with a mild soap. That seemed to work great for me. If you receive fingers that don't seem to hold the PDA securely, try washing them. If that doesn't work I will replace them.
