Tips

IMPORTANT: Naviter Condor Dongle is not recognized automatically in Windows. You must install drivers for this dongle before first use.

Installation Instructions (first time use)

1. Install USB to Serial drivers on your PC 

        1. Download CP210x Universal Windows Driver
        2. Open the downloaded ZIP package (double click in Windows Explorer)
        3. Install CP210xVCPInstaller_x64.exe

2. Run Condor

3. Go to Setup > Options > NMEA Output

4. Enable NMEA Output

5. Choose available COM port associated with the Condor Dongle (normally COM3 or similar)

6. Start flying with Condor. Only now, the data stream becomes available and Dongle is activated

7. Run SeeYou Navigator or Oudie N

8. Go to Menu > Devices

9. Wait until see “Naviter BLE” appears in the list of discovered devices

10. Tap on “Naviter BLE“

11. Wait until it displays a “connected” message

Done. The Naviter Condor Dongle is set up and ready to use.

Normal operation

Once the 1st time installation has been done, flying with the Naviter Condor dongle is easy. 

1. Make sure Condor Dongle is plugged into the computer 
2. Run Condor and start flying
3. Run SeeYou Navigator or Oudie N after flying starts in Condor

The Condor Dongle will connect automatically each time.

FLARM – IGC standard port
Compatible with all FLARM and PowerFLARM devices with a free RJ45 port with standard IGC-pinout in the back.  If no free RJ45 port is available on your device, you will need a separate FLARM Splitter to connect Naviter Bluetooth Dongle to your FLARM.

LXNAV – PDA port
Compatible with LXNAV V7/S7/S8/S80/S10/S100 as well as any LX 8xxx/9xxxx version with a PDA port in the back.

No configuration is required. Simply plug it into the PDA port, start the flight instrument, enable its Bluetooth module and Naviter BT Dongle will become visible after a few seconds. The moment it becomes visible as a Bluetooth device, it is ready to transmit data over Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth 2.0 protocols.

LX Navigation – User port

Compatible with all LX Navigation Era, Eos, Helios and 10k variometers with a User port in the back.

No configuration is required. Simply plug it into the User port, start the flight instrument and it will become visible after a few seconds. The moment it becomes visible as a Bluetooth device, it is ready to transmit data over Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth 2.0 protocols.
