Cable for connecting S7 or S80 GPS Port to Nano or Nano3
This cable connects the GPS port on a S7 or S80 variometer to a Nano or Nano3 - through a USB to mini-USB cable. It includes a 12V to 5V power converter which is powered with 12V from the S7 of S80.
Note: A standard USB to mini-USB cable is required and included with this cable. One is also provided in the box with the Nano or Nano3.
Note: Another way to connect the S7 or S80 to a Nano or Nano3 is to use the NanoPower cable that was supplied with the Nano or Nano3 along with an LXNAV-CC-NP-LX cable and a USB to mini-USB cable. However, with that solution the NanoPower cable's 12V power leads must be powered with 12V. This LXNAV-S7-GPS-Nano cable gets 12V power from the S7 - making it easier to install and making for a cleaner installation.
