Nano4 RAM Mount with 4" Rubber Suction Cup
Great mounting cradle for Nano4 - simple, light-weight, elegant. The Nano4 snaps in easily and is easy to remove, but the cradle holds the Nano4 very securely. With 1" RAM ball on the back of the cradle which can be rotated up and down. A screw and nylon lock-nut precisely set the friction between the ball and cradle. It stays where you set it.

The RAM 4" diameter rubber suction cup can be mounted to any smooth surface - such as a glider canopy - without damaging the canopy. Be sure to clean and wet the suction cup before mounting.

Note: I don't recommend using any suction cup with a lever or knob for creating a strong suction on a glider canopy. They deform the canopy to the shape of the inside of the suction cup and will damage the plexiglass over time. This suction cup doesn't do that. It doesn't use any clamping mechanism. It's just a big, rubber suction cup.

Like all RAM arm assemblies, the parts are extremely rugged and reliable.

This is the most portable Nano4 mounting option - great for use in rental or club sailplanes. Please be sure to clean the canopy when done. Don't leave suction cup water marks on the canopy. Soaring clubs frown on that.
