LXNAV Bridge-Becker

The LXNAV Bridge-Becker connects a Becker AR6201 radio to the LXNAV RS-485 bus of an LX80x0 or LX90x0 system. It is pretty cool to select an airport in the LX80x0 or LX90x0 and have the flight computer automatically send the airport radio frequency to standy frequency in the connected radio. Or select the desired radio frequency or transponder mode from the back seat of a 2-seat sailplane when the radio display head is in the front seat.

The bridge is connected to the LXNAV RS-485 bus through an LXNAV-RS485-Splitter with DB9 connector. The LXNAV-RS485-Splitter is not included. If you don`t have spare port on your RS485 splitter you must order another LXNAV-RS485-Splitter.

The LXNAV-RS485-Splitter will need a small modification before the Bridge-Becker can be attached. It is necessary to remove two HEX screws where the Bridge-Becker is to be connected and install the two included spring locks.

To connect an LX80x0 or LX90x0 to both a radio and transponder, 2 of the LXNAV-Bridge units are required, along with 2 ports on an LXNAV-RS485-Splitter
