Gooseneck Microphone Adapter
This is a very classy and rugged part. It is used to connect a Peiker microphone head to a GNeck2 gooseneck flex arm. It is designed to make a gradual transition from the gooseneck diameter to the microphone head diameter. It also adapts from the U.S. threads on the gooseneck to the metric threads on the microphone head. It is machined from a block of aluminum and black anodized. It mates perfectly to a Peiker ME510 or TM168 microphone head, but the M10 threads on the microphone end fit into most glider microphone heads.
Threads:
- Female 1/8-27 NPSM (straight thread) (similar to, but slightly different from M10 threads), for connection to GNeck2 gooseneck flex arm
- Male M10 Threads for connection to Peiker TM170 (recent versions), ME510 or TM168 or similar microphone head
Dimensions:
Length of main body (not including male threaded part): 0.78 inches (20 mm)
Length of male M10 threads which thread into the microphone head: 0.276 inches (7 mm)
Major diameter: 0.82 inches (21 mm)
Minor diameter: inches 0.6 inches (15 mm)
Note: Older versions of the TM170 have straight sides. Newer versions narrow at the base. This adapter works only with the newer versions. If you have an older version, I recommend this adapter: GNeckMicAdapterTM170.
