LXNAV Wi-Fi Module for LX80x0 and LX90x0
The LXNAV Wi-Fi Module can be used to connect to the internet through a wireless network such as a smart phone that can act as a "Personal Hotspot". It offers many powerful features - such as the ability to e-mail your flight log to any computer while still sitting in the glider. It can also be used to download and display weather data on the map (coming soon).

It will be extremely nice to e-mail my flight log to my home computer immediately after landing - using my iPhone (any smart phone with internet access will work) to connect the LX9000 to the internet. Displaying weather maps on the map will also be extremely useful - assuming my iPhone can connect to the internet while at altitude.

Note: It may or may not be possible to connect your smart phone to the internet in flight - so in-flight weather data may or may not be available.

• Most LX8000 units with serial numbers > 25700 (LX8000 units with serial numbers 27000 to 27999 do not support the WiFi module.)

Enable Process

• Send me your LX80x0 or LX90x0 serial number and receive a link to the firmware upgrade file and enable license key
• Download the firmware upgrade file to an SD memory card and plug the card into your flight computer
• Go to Setup > Password and enter 89891
• Select the Wi-Fi enable firmware
• Enter the supplied enable key
