MOP (Means of Propulsion) ENL (Engine Noise Level) Sensor - IGC Approved Sensor
LXNAV is the only company to supply and IGC approved MOP solution for owners of gliders with Jet and Electric engines.

This sensor box has a built-in microphone (jet-powered sailplanes) or electric current sensor (electric-powered sailplanes) which is used to record into the LX80x0 or LX90x0 or S-Vario's flight recorder when the motor is run. The Mop record is stored in the IGC file as additional column -called MOP. Mop values are in the range from 0 and 999.

Connects to LX9000, LX8000 and LX8080 via RS485 bus or S-Vario on the CANBus network. 

Main features: Small size, light weight, simple to use. A 3.5 m (11.5 foot) long RS-485 cable is included for connection to the LX90x0 or LX80x0 RS-485 bus.

For LX80x0 and LX90x0 systems - An LXNAV-RS485-Splitter is not included and may be required.

For S-varios - An LXNAV-CANbus-Y-Splitter is required and not included,

When connecting both an LX80x0 or LX90x0 AND S-vario - an LXNAV-UNI-CAN-485 splitter is required and not included.
