Battery Harness with Inline Fuse and Anderson Powerpole Connectors - with lugs for NB2 nut and bolt battery connectors
This is a clean and simple wiring harness for connecting glider electronics to a glider battery. It includes lugs for connection to "NB2" nut and bolt battery terminals. Anderson Powerpole connectors are used to make it easy to disconnect the battery for charging at the end of the day. One Anderson Powerpole connector is used on the wiring harness, and another one is provided for connection to the glider electronics. An inline automotive style fuse holder is used between the Anderson Powerpole connector and the battery connectors. A 5A fuse is included. Double-sided tape is provided on the fuse holder so it can be secured to the battery. The Anderson Powerpole connectors are designed such that it is impossible to connect them backwards.
Important Note: Always use a fuse at the battery. If you don't use a fuse at the battery, a short in the system could cause a fire. An in-flight fire in the cockpit is obviously very dangerous.
You may want to purchase an additional Anderson Powerpole connectors for use on the battery charger cable.
