Dynamic F10039 Gooseneck Microphone
Length of gooseneck from base to end of microphone: 370 mm (14.5"), Cable length: 3 m (10 ft), 5-pole DIN connector, great for use in gliders. DIN connector plugs directly into the F10061 - Speaker box and wire junction box.  I've seen a lot of pilots get by without a gooseneck microphone.  Once they upgrade to a gooseneck microphone with a push-to-talk button mounted on the stick, they never go back.  The reason is that you don't have to hunt for and fumble with a handheld microphone.  You simply press the button and start talking.  The simplicity improves safety because you spend less time with your head looking about the cockpit.
