Overview by the Author
For many years I specialized in teaching glider aerobatics at Estrella Sailport. In 1985, I put my years of experience into a book titled "Sailplane Aerobatics." My book contains useful information for all pilots regardless of aerobatic interest. We are into our fifth printing.

This is not a book for self taught aerobatics.  Use only as a supplement to an Aerobatic Course.

Review by Paul Remde
I read this book many years ago as I was taking a aerobatics lessons in an ASK-21.  I really enjoy doing aerobatics in gliders.  I feel that the lessons learned doing aerobatics make me a better glider pilot in general.  I feel very closely connected to the sailplane after doing loops, rolls and inverted flight.  The book is a good investment.  I like how it is laid out.  As you can see from the 2 example pages from "The Aerobatic Figures" section, first the maneuver is explained and then cautionary notes and tips are given.  The overview in the first section of the book is also very good.  Everything I learned in the book matched up very well with what I learned from my instructor in the air.
