1. Is the GT-50 TSO'd?

No. This helps keep prices down and suitable for the experimental market.

2. What is your warranty policy?

Flight Data Systems has a One Year Money Back Guarantee policy. If a customer is not satisfied with the product they may return it within one year from the date of shipment from our facility for a full refund.

Flight Data Systems also offers a One Year Warranty on all products. If a product fails within one year from the date of shipment from our facility we will repair it free of charge.

3. Can I install the GT-50 in my type certificated airplane or glider?

I'm sorry, but I can't answer that with certainty. I am not an expert. It is my understanding that the FARs mention a few types of instruments that must be TSO'd for use in a glider, but they don't mention G-Meters or clocks or timers. I highly recommend that you ask your local aircraft mechanic or aircraft inspector.

Note: For use in Experimental Aircraft.

Note: The latest version of the GT-50 does not have any internal battery, so the time will be lost when battery power is removed. That means that glider pilots that remove their battery after every flight will need to reset the clock every time they fly. However, it is a very nice display and a very good value.
