Cambridge 302
Firmware File
This is the software that runs in a 302. The version
number is displayed on the 302's LCD display at power-up. Be
sure your 302 has the latest version (highest number).
The following upgrade fixes the
following bugs:
- Fixes the 'Most Recent Points'
lockup. This happens when there are no turnpoints in the 302 and
you attempt to go up or down to 'view' the turnpoints that are
in the 302. The 302 attempts to spend eternity looking for a
turnpoint then the watch dog timer resets the unit.
- Fixes the recently discovered
Winpilot and Glide Navigator problem of the 302 resetting the
MacCready and Bug Settings back to 0 after the PDA set it to a
non-zero value.
Installation Tips
Save the file to your PC in the same directory with the 300 Reloader
program. Use the 300 Reloader program to upload it to the 302
or 302A.
Important Note
Do not interrupt the firmware upgrade process. If it is
interrupted the 302 will need to be returned to the factory for
service. Don't disconnect the cable or turn-off the computer
or 302 during the upgrade process. |

downloaded from here:
http://www.gliding.com.au/sx/Documentation/303demo.exe
Directions

- Extract the files to a directory
somewhere on your PC - I recommend the "My Documents/303 Demo"
folder
- Open the folder and double-click
on the file "_303demo.htm"

HP iPAQ Storage Card Rename Utility |
HP iPAQ Pocket PC
Storage Card Rename Utility
This free utility program can be used to rename the memory card on
your iPAQ Pocket PC to "Storage Card". The original iPAQs used
the term "Storage Card" to describe the memory card. Newer
models use terms such as "SD Card", "CF Card" and many other
directory names. The change in "standard" terminology is a
problem for applications written several years ago because they try
to find a "Storage Card' and can't find the SD or CF memory cards.
For example, the Cambridge 300 Utility (I believe) tries to save
downloaded flight log files on the "Storage Card". When it
can't find one it saves the files in the My Documents/Flights
directory in the Pocket PC's internal memory. Many pilots
prefer to have the file saved directly to their SD or CF memory card
so they can transfer the flight log to their PC using a memory card
reader. This utility should make that possible. It can
rename the memory card so that the 300 Utility can access the
"Storage Card". |
